The Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory has released its annual list of winners of the $50 million Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator's Strategic Awards for Clean Technology.
The awards, which recognize clean-tech companies that have shown promise in areas such as energy efficiency, transportation, and waste management, will go toward 15 companies that will host workshops at Camp Cleantech in Denver in 2024, reports the Denver Post.
The workshops will cover a wide range of topics, including "community and corporate partnerships, financing strategies, organizational development, product design and manufacturing, pilot and demonstration readiness, and crafting compelling value propositions," per the IN2 website.
"The significance of this year's awards goes beyond the recognition of innovation; it embodies a concerted effort to elevate collaboration and engagement across the board," says Sarah Derdowski, program director at NREL, which is co-administered by the Wells Fargo Foundation.
"Through Camp Cleantech, we're setting a new standard in how we gather, inspire, and propel our community forward," she adds.
